An Egyptian rights group and the nation`s telecommunication`s ministry have filed appeals to reverse a court order to block YouTube.
Some 10,000 Muslims gathered outside the offices of Google in London to force the company to remove an anti-Islamic video from YouTube in Britain.
The Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly Monday unanimously passed a resolution condemning the anti-Islam film that has evoked violent reactions in some Muslim countries.
President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday reacted strongly to the anti-Islam video that has attracted widespread condemnation in Islamic countries for its depiction of the Prophet of Islam in poor light.

Hardline Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani has called for peaceful protests after Friday congregation prayers against the acts of blasphemy.
"Some of the URLs have already been blocked but few are still accessible on the Internet," official sources said.
Russia`s communications minister has warned that his country may block access to YouTube over the anti-Islam video.
Saudi Arabia`s highest spiritual leader has called on the Muslims to denounce violence in protest of an anti-Islam video made in the US.
Google has maintained that it is blocking the video in India and Indonesia.
Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir Bashiruddin Ahmad has asked all US citizens in the Valley to "immediately leave" the state.
