The outlawed United Baloch Army (UBA) militant group has taken responsibility for two successive blasts in Pakistan which claimed at least 40 lives and left several injured, the interior ministry said Thursday.
Polling in Pakistan`s landmark General Election was on Saturday marred by four bomb blasts in Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar.
Several persons were injured in two bomb attacks on government buildings in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces of Pakistan today, officials said.
The explosions occurred in cities and towns across Sindh, including the capital city of Karachi, early this morning.
It was not known how many people were inside the preaching centre when the explosion took place.
