New Delhi: Popular face in comedy for more than a decade, Ali Asgar aka Nani on ace comedian Kapil Sharma's show shocked everyone with his decision to quit the platform midway. The infamous fight between Kapil and Sunil Grover resulted in other team members from the show leaving it the show.

This left fans disappointed as they were used to watching the team stick together and deliver some amazing comic content. Now, after the controversy died its own death, Ali has for the first time spoken about the issue.

Timesofindia.com quoted the actor as saying, “"It is unfortunate. There are times when you are at crossroads and you have to take a decision. I miss the show and the stage. We have walked together as a team. But a time came when I felt professionally I had reached a point. I moved out due to creative differences as my character had become stagnant and wasn't going anywhere. There was no scope for improvement in it."
