Bigg Boss 11: Arshi Khan’s grandfather had eighteen wives? Here’s the truth

Mumbai: Bigg Boss 11 contestant Arshi Khan has been in the middle of a number of controversies in the past and is one of the loudest inmates of the season. She has a number of detractors –Priyank Sharma, Hina Khan, Luv Tyagi and Sapna Choudhary inside the house of Bigg Boss but interestingly a few friends too – Vikas Gupta and Shilpa Shinde.

However, her family isn’t pleased with her. Arshi had reportedly said that her grandfather had eighteen wives and this apparently irked her parents.

According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, Arshi’s father Mohammed Armaan Khan rubbished her statement.

He said he lost his father in 1945 when he was four-year-old. He said that he himself couldn’t spend substantial time with his father and hardly knows much about him then how could Arshi claim that he had eighteen wives and speak about his character. He also said that he and his wife never told her anything about her grandfather.

According to Arshi’s father, her grandfather Mohammad Suleman Khan was a jailer in Bhopal’s Central Jail during the British period and had two wives.

Arshi’s mother too isn’t pleased with her daughter’s antics. She reportedly said that Arshi isn’t doing right by maligning her family.

In Wednesday's episode, Arshi had a massive showdown with Hina Khan and Priyank Sharma. Arshi lost her cool during the Bigg Boss Adalat task and was seen screaming and yelling at them. Vikas Gupta literally lifted her in his arms to take her away from the two whom Arshi was thoroughly miffed with.
