Bigg Boss 11: Kapil Sharma all set to promote Firangi on Salman Khan’s show?

Mumbai: Salman Khan had promoted his films on Kapil Sharma’s shows - Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show in the past. And now, the opposite may happen – the star comedian may make an appearance soon on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 to promote his film Firangi.

According to a report in DNA, sources have said that Sharma will shoot for a segment on Friday. And the segment is scheduled to be aired this weekend when the Bollywood heavyweight will make his presence felt during the weekend ka vaar episodes.

Not too long ago, there were reports suggesting that Salman chose to promote his Eid release Tubelight on a special show hosted by Sunil Grover, with whom Kapil had an infamous fight with. Buzz even suggested that Salman was miffed with Kapil. But those were mere rumours it seems.

However, there has been no confirmation regarding Kapil’s plan to promote Firangi on Bigg Boss 11.

DNA report also suggests that Kapil had committed to promote Firangi on Super Dancer but cancelled it for reasons unknown.

Firangi is Kapil’s first venture under the banner K9 productions and second film as an actor. He was launched by Abbas-Mustan of the Baazigar fame in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in 2015. Firangi, directed by Rajiev Dhingra, is set in the backdrop of pre-independent India.

The trailer of the film garnered rave response and the audience is eagerly looking forward to its release. The film has been shot extensively at the banks of the river Sutlej in Punjab where a village was recreated to give an authentic touch.

Slated to release on November 24, Firangi also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill.
