New Delhi: Comedy king Kapil Sharma is having a tough time these days with negative reports floating everywhere. Ace comedian, who has a target family audience and is loved by the masses is currently hit by a controversy which refuses to die following an ugly spat with fellow actor Sunil Grover.

It has been almost a week since the news of their fight went viral yet there happens to be no clarity on whether Sunil, who plays the famous Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi's character will return to the show or not. Amid all this, there is a strong buzz doing the rounds that 'The Kapil Sharma Show' might have to shut down for the time being.

Yes! According to BollywoodLife.com, which originally attributes the report to Mid-Day states that the show is in a renewal gear from next month with a Rs 106 crore deal in the pipeline. However, the channel is considering to put a stop on the rundown following the ugly fight between its cast.

The report quotes the source as saying, “Kapil has had to cancel shoots as he couldn’t get big celebs as guests. He has, in fact, left for Bikaner to shoot for his film, 'Firangi', and will return to Mumbai on March 29.”

With Sunul Grover, Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar already boycotting the show, will it be able to gain back its glory?
