Women love shopping and can spend hours on the street picking up all the stuff that they like. Here in India, women love splurging on clothes, accessories, jewelleries and footwear.

Here, we will take a look at some of the cities in India, which can prove to be shopping paradises for the womenfolk:

Colourful Mojris.

The incredibly beautiful city of Jaipur not only has some of the finest architectural gems, but is also hugely famous for authentic Rajasthani jewellery, Jaipuri printed fabric and bed-spreads, Leheriya sarees, Mojris, showpieces made of marble and metals.

Oxidised Jewellery

Law Garden, CG Market and Teen Darwaza are just three of the hot spots for shopping. Handicrafts and ethnic Gujarati Ghaghra Cholis, blouses and dress material are some of the main features of these joints. Besides these, one can get oxidised jewellery galore.

Janpath, Sarojini Market, Lajpat Market, Delhi Haat and Karol Bagh and Chandni Chowk are hugely famous for shopping. Women will find almost everything that they need in Chandni Chowk- from custom made sarees, to cholis, to shararas to dupattas, jewellery, accessories, clutches etc. While the other shopping areas have casual wears, regular wears, footwear, home accessories etc.

For women who are crazy about sarees, Kolkata is the place they need to head to. The state of West Bengal is home to a number of handlooms which produce incredibly beautiful sarees primarily made of cotton. Taant, Jamdani, Baluchari, Murshidabad Silk, Tashar and Kantha are some of the types of sarees that one can find in Bengal’s capital. Besides these, jewellery and artefacts made of terracotta are abundantly available.

Like Delhi, Mumbai is cosmopolitan. Women love picking up stuff from the shops on the streets. Linking road and Hill road in Bandra, Fashion Street in CST, Colaba Causeway, Kalbadevi, Mumbadevi etc are meant for shopping.

Accessories, casual and regular wear, footwear and loads of other stuff can be found in abundance in these places.
