Indian Army gets first artillery guns M777 ultra-light howitzer

After 30 years of the Bofors scandal, the Army received its first major batch of artillery guns on Thursday. The Indian Army today received M777 ultra-light howitzer (ULH) artillery guns, manufactured by the British defence manufacturing firm BAE systems, and K9 Vajra developed by India’s Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Defence –an Indian defence firm.
