'व्हेंटिलेटर' सिनेमातील अभिनेत्याचं निधन

मुंबई : प्रियंका चोप्राची निर्मिती असलेल्या 'व्हेंटिलेटर' सिनेमातील एका कलाकाराचं निधन झालं आहे. सिनेमात दादाची भूमिका साकारलेल्या अभिनेता संजीव शाह यांच २७ ऑगस्ट रोजी निधन झालं आहे. गुजराती नाटकांत अभिनेता आणि सिनेनिर्माते म्हणून संजीव शाह कार्यरत होते. 

सुत्रांकडून मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, संजीव यांचे गेल्या कित्येक दिवसांपासून ब्रेन स्ट्रोक झाले होते. तसेच त्यांना फुफ्फुसाचा देखील त्रास होता. संजीव हे उत्तम मराठी बोलत असतं. त्यांनी व्हेंटिलेटर सिनेमात साकारलेली भूमिका चर्चेत आली होती. तसेच 'राऊंड टेबल इंडिया' या मार्फत सामाजिक कार्यात सहभागी होते.

वयाच्या ६० व्या वर्षी संजीव यांनी अखेरचा श्वास घेतला. अनेकांसाठी ही धक्कादायक बाब आहे. दिग्दर्शक राजेश मापुस्कर यांनी देखील सोशल मीडियावर आपल्या भावना व्यक्त केल्या आहेत.

#SanjivShah #Dada : We had cast a well known senior Marathi actor for Dada's character but somehow it didn't work out and that actor had to step down. We kept trying various options and after a long search we found another apt option but his dates were not matching. We were disappointed again. In the meanwhile we finished the first #Shriwardhan schedule and came back to #Mumbai to start shooting the hospital schedule but Dada's cast was not in place. Stress was building. One day out of the box I thought of one name #SanjivShah (@chamaaila). He is the renowned ad filmmaker and not an actor by profession. When I called him he thought I was out of my mind to offer him an acting assignment again. I had offered him a character in #FerrariKiSawaari but didn’t work out . This time I sent him my video story narration and a bound script. He saw the video narration for 15 min and he called me to say "Mapus I am loving how passionately you are narrating the story but how come you are not finding an actor? I will do it only if you are stuck but dude what about the audition?" I said, "You just come to the hospital where I am shooting and read the lines with me and we will know then" Sanjiv arrived while I was shooting, he looked unsure and stressed, he wanted to smoke. I noticed that. Due to smoking restrictions in hospital campus myself and @jitendrajoshi27 went out on the road with him, we opened the script on the parked car bonnet and both started reading aloud in the middle of the road with the traffic chaos around us. In the mid of reading Sanjiv shut the script and said "Mapus this character is a very calm and soft-spoken person I am nowhere close to that in real life. I have shaved my head as well and I look like a tough guy" in that reading somehow I had begun to recalibrate Dada's character to fit Sanjiv the tough-looking man with a baritone voice. I asked them to continue reading. After few pages again he shut the script in frustration and said "Ok I am doing it only if you are insisting" I looked at Jitu we both felt at the same time that we got our Dada. The commander of #Kamerkar clan.
