Google said that later this year, it will change the name of the Duo app to Google Meet. "Later this year, we will rename the Duo app to Google Meet, our single video communications service across Google that is available to everyone at no-cost," it added.
The integration of Google Duo and Meet, according to the tech giant, will provide users with a single solution service for both video calling and meetings with people across their lives.
Google has pointed out that it will be introducing a slew of new features such as group calls for up to 32 people. Other new features that will arrive at the app include new doodles, and video calling on tablets, foldable, smart devices, and TVs for those using Duo as their cross-platform video calling app service, IANS reported.
