Delhi election result: After Sheila, AAP says will defeat Modi

New Delhi: Brimming with confidence after presenting a good show in the Delhi Assembly election, the Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday said that it has served defeat to Sheila and now will beat BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi too. The party officials waving brooms in the air, shouted slogans, “Sheila Ko haraya hai, Modi Ko harayange (We have defeated Sheila, We will defeat Modi).” The news of Sheila Dikshit’s resignation was greeted with joy at the AAP office as party members shouted slogans, “Sheila tai bhag gayi.” The Delhi result has been all about the Aam Aadmi Party as it is set to finish second with a spectacular debut. The BJP is leading in Delhi and is inching closer to get majority. Meanwhile, the BJP also admitted that Aam Aadmi Party`s stunning performance in Delhi elections came as a "surprise" but maintained that it would form a government.
