The film has been produced by well-known producer in the Bhojpuri film fraternity, Pradeep Sharma. A lot of technology has been used to make the film, the post-production of the film has been done in Prakash Jha's studio. The IMDB website has placed 'Damru' in the fifth position after Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmaavat'.
