‘Munni’ to bag big bucks as Katrina Kaif says no to ‘Sheila’

As per reports Katrina, who was offered a whopping sum to perform on her latest song ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ by two leading hotels, has turned down the offer in favour of some quality time with her family.

Mumbai: Sheila and Munni won’t clash this New Year. The two hottest item-bombs of Tinseltown Katrina Kaif and Malaika Arora Khan won’t be seen at loggerheads this New Year’s Eve as Kat has opted out of the cat race. As per reports Katrina, who was offered a whopping sum to perform on her latest song ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ by two leading hotels, has turned down the offer in favour of some quality time with her family.
The actress was reportedly offered a sum of Rs 3 crores but she has refused the proposal.
Sources state that Katrina who has had a very busy year promoting and acting on her films ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and ‘Raajneeti’, wants to take time off. The actress has extensive vacation plans and is looking to cut off from Tinseltown and spend time only with her family members and close friends.
Reports suggest that two hotels in India and one abroad were looking to get Kat. However, Kat is in the mood to travel.
The actress might be travelling to London to bring in the New Year. She also has plans to travel with her mother Sussana Mary Turcotte to her philanthropic organisation at Madhurai. Joining them will be Kat’s sister, Isabel.
And Kat is not alone in choosing family over money. Recently Priyanka Chopra too, had turned down a plum offer from a suburban hotel near the domestic airport. They were ready to pay her Rs.3 crore for a 10 minute performance as a star attraction, but Piggy Chops opted out.
