When Gerard Butler didn`t feel Scottish enough!

Scottish star Gerard Butler thinks his native accent lends itself well to warrior roles, but was worried it wasn`t strong enough for his new movie.

London: Scottish star Gerard Butler thinks his native accent lends itself well to warrior roles, but was worried it wasn`t strong enough for his new movie.
The actor voices a Viking in new animated adventure "How To Train Your Dragon" and although he believes his natural dialect was perfect for the role, he was worried it had softened too much from living in the US, a news website reports.
"This was the only movie that I`ve ever made or will make, that after watching it for the first time, made me realise that my accent was not Scottish enough. I was like, `What is that?` I was stuck in the middle, so I felt that it needed a bit more," he said. "I think a strong Celtic accent lends itself to Viking-ness, or any kind of warrior breed. It was the same in `300` as well," he added. IANS
