Kal Penn`s attacker jailed

London: The man who attacked actor Kal Penn has been sentenced to three years behind bars.

Marcellus Chambers pulled a gun on the "The Namesake" actor when he was working as President Barack Obama`s associate director of the White House Office of Public Engagement in April last year. The thief took the cash and Penn`s government issued cell phone, reports Tmz.com. Chambers pleaded guilty of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. IANS
