Lily Allen vows to keep her kids out of limelight

London: Lily Allen, who is planning to have a baby with boyfriend Sam Cooper "within a year", has vowed to keep her kids out of the spotlight.

The Smile hitmaker has said that she’d to shun her celebrity friends when she has children - because she doesn`t want her kids to suffer the glare of publicity. The singer is adamant her kids won`t have the same upbringing she endured with her actor father Keith Allen - she intends to ‘shelter’ them from her celebrity lifestyle. "A part of the way I became who I became was because I was subjected to a certain lifestyle from a really early age. My parents hung out with famous people, but we didn`t necessarily reap the same financial benefits. So there was a part of me thinking, ``I wanna be like those people.`` And once I`d achieved it, it didn`t make me happy,” the Daily Star quoted Allen as telling Glamour magazine. "So I don`t want to put my kids in that position. I`d rather set up businesses, put a roof over our heads, then move to the country to shelter them for a bit," she added. ANI
