Mumbai: It was a glittering event when the Amabanis hosted a grand party to celebrate 25 illustrious years in fashion of popular designer duo Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla. Bollywood’s crème de la was in attendance, dressed their finest for the big event. But the one who shined the most was Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara.
The 16 year old made her ramp debut at the event which also saw the launch of a book penned by the designer duo called ‘India Fantastique’. Sara, who has striking resemblance to her mother Amrita, looked poised and elegant in a Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla outfit and sashayed down the ramp amidst loud cheering and applause.
The young girl had earlier appeared on the cover of a magazine along with her mother wearing the same designer duos clothes. Ever since her debut on the magazine, Sara has been getting several movie offers but mother Amrita has categorically said that movies will have to wait till her education is over.
Amrita has also refuted rumours which claimed that Sara was all set to make her in a Yash Raj film. “I`m the one doing a film with that production house. Not my daughter. There hasn`t been any talk about something like this. Sara is in high school. After she finishes her school, she intends to go overseas to study law. If she decides to join films, it may be four years hence,” the actress said.
But considering the positive reviews Sara has been getting ever since she made her debut on the ramp, mum Amrita will have a tough time managing and refusing the plum offers that come her daughter’s way.
