Ace photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha passes away

Mumbai: One of country’s leading photographers, Gautam Rajadhyaksha passed away early Tuesday morning following a massive heart attack. He was 61. The lensman had worked with almost all the leading stars of Indian film industry. The news of his demise was shared on Twitter by filmmaker Karan Johar. Karan tweeted, “Gautam rajadhyaksha was one my most favourite people in the fraternity...funny,sensitive and always positive..I love you gautam and I miss u(sic)” “A deep sense of loss...we lost the one man who captured every movie star with his lens and his heart...RIP Gautam...you will remain forever!(sic)” Celebrity lensman Atul Kasbekar considered Gautam his guru and paid his condolences via Twitter. Atul tweeted, “My Guru n Mentor, Gautam Rajadhyaksha passed away this morning. my principal influence n a truly wonderful, gentle, kind n talented man(sic)”. Gautam's cousin, noted author Shobha De tweeted that his funeral would take place at 5PM on Tuesday at Chandanwadi, Mumbai.
