Brian Grazer replaces Brett Ratner to produce Oscar Telecast

Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer has replaced Brett Ratner to produce next year’s Academy Awards show.

Washington: Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer has replaced Brett Ratner to produce next year’s Academy Awards show.
The 60-year-old, who produced “Apollo 13” and “A Beautiful Mind”, signed in moments ago, agreeing to replace the ‘Rush Hour’ director just one day after he resigned, following uproar over a homophobic slur Ratner dropped at a film screening. Academy president Tom Sherak announced Grazer’s appointment on Nov 9, TMZ.com reported. However, there is no word on who will replace Eddie Murphy, who resigned as the Oscars host just hours ago. ANI
