Mumbai: They broke up even before they made it official! According to grapevine, actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are no longer a couple and Ranbir has a new lady love in his life. Newcomer Nargis Fakhri, who stars with Ranbir in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rockstar’ is said to be the actor’s new object of affection.
Few days back, pictures of Ranbir and Nargis sneaking out of a Mumbai multiplex were splashed in a newspaper daily. The pictures showed the couple having a good time with Ranbir’s friend director Ayaan Mukherji.
Although rumours of Ranbir-Kat spilt had been doing the rounds for a while, the pictures somewhat confirmed their breakup. Industry sources have stated how Katrina had even questioned beau Ranbir about the alleged link up but Ranbir had assured her that they were just rumours. But all hell broke loose, when a tabloid carried pictures of Nargis celebrating her birthday at a Bandra lounge bar with Ranbir.
A source close to Katrina says, "The rumours of Ranbir and Nargis were true all along and that was proved two days ago. It was what drove Kat and him apart. Even though Ayaan was with them that night, it means nothing. Ayaan was also friends with Deepika and Kat."
So are Nargis-Ranbir the new couple of B-town? Looks like it as friends close to the actor have indicated that the Kapoor lad is smitten by the exotic beauty and loves hanging out with her. Infact, Katrina had suspected that something was brewing between the two and had even visited Ranbir in Delhi while he was shooting for ‘Rockstar’. Her visit plugged the budding romance between Ranbir and the new actress, but only for a while. An insider says, "He was totally ignoring Nargis and that upset her. She communicated to him that she was hurt." But after Katrina left, they were back together.
So who is Ranbir’s new girl now? Katrina or Nargis? Guess, only Ranbir can answer that question!
