Lifetime achievement award for Amitabh at Muscat film fest!

After the British PM Gordon Brown appreciated the hugely talented Amitabh Bachchan describing him as ‘one of the greatest talents’ of the generation, there is more recognition in store for the veteran actor. The actor will receive a lifetime achievement award at the sixth edition of the Muscat International Film Festival. Other artists expected to attend the film festival are Shabana Azmi, Mohanlal and Resul Pookutty.

New Delhi: After the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown appreciated the hugely talented Amitabh Bachchan describing him as ‘one of the greatest talents’ of the generation, there is more recognition in store for the veteran actor. The actor will receive a lifetime achievement award at the sixth edition of the Muscat International Film Festival starting March 13. In his blog, Amitabh broke the news. "In a few days it will be Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman and the International Film Festival, where there shall be decoration for a Lifetime of Achievement," the 67-year-old posted on his blog. Other Indian artists expected to attend the film festival are Shabana Azmi, Mohanlal and Resul Pookutty. About 72 films from 20 countries are expected to be screened at the festival. Well, the actor refuses to be cowed down by age and sets bigger benchmark every time. We wish him more such awards and accolades!
