Huawei Honor 5X goes on sale in India; available on Flipkart, Amazon

New Delhi: The much anticipated smartphone from Huawei, the Honor 5X is officially available for purchase in India via online e-commerce sites Flipkart and Amazon.

The no-nonsense smartphone with full metal body and fingerprint sensor is exclusively available at Flipkart and Amazon Honor.

Since the start of sales on Flipkart and Amazon, at 12 AM on February 1, Honor 5X smartphone has witnessed strong demand, like its predecessor, the Honor 4X, the company said in a press statement.

Honor 5X is available in 3 colors: gold, silver and grey at an affordable price.

Honor 4X, the predecessor to Honor 5X, received an overwhelming response and Honor 4X units were sold out within a minute of the flash sale, and the model sold over 10 million units globally.

Honor 5X is a dual-sim phone, powered by a Rim-free touch fingerprint sensor with a 0.5 sec unlock and is also the first honor metallic phone with nano-SIM, micro-SIM, and microSD card slots.

It features a 5.5-inch fully laminated GFF screen, 1080p full HD screen and together with expandable storage space up to 128 GB and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616, 64B Bit Octa Core Processor.

The phone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera and is backed by a powerful 3000mAh smart power 3.0 battery which lasts for approximately 10 hours.

The phone comes with a premium aircraft grade metal that offers 5 layer heat sinks with copper shielding cover. It runs on Android 5.1 + HUAWEI EMUI 3.1 Lite which system offers a more intuitive, simple,
clear and stylish design with a 150% more call clarity.

The phone boasts of 2G RAM + 16GB ROM memory.
