Mumbai: Prem is perhaps one of those characters on Indian silver screen that has left an indelible impression on the audiences – a character loved and adored by people across all age groups. And the man to have given life to the character is none other than Salman Khan. The superstar gave his first super-hit with Sooraj Barhatya’s ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, way back in 1989 and has since then been the filmmaker’s hot favourite. The duo has also delivered family dramas like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ and ‘Hum Saath Sath Hain’. Last year, the director had reportedly hinted at a film with Khan and was about to start working on the same this year. But since Khan is running short of dates this year, Brajatya will have to wait for his lucky mascot until 2014. And this means that the fans of Salman ‘Prem’ Khan will have to wait for another year to see him sizzle in a Barjatya flick, if the buzz is anything to go by.
