Bal Thackeray visits Nana Patekar for Ganeshotsav

Mumbai: Respecting Nana Patekar`s request to grace the Ganesh festival celebrations at his home, Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray late Tuesday paid a visit to the actor`s residence here.

Patekar had some days back visited Thackeray`s residence and requested him to attend the evening `aarti` to Lord Ganesh during the auspicious 10-day festival. Thackeray, along with his son Uddhav and grandson Aditya, attended the `aarti` and exchanged pleasantries with the actor and his family at his south-central Mumbai home. The actor had also requested Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray, Bal Thackeray`s nephew, to grace the festivities. Raj had reportedly attended the celebrations two days back. IANS
