Washington: American singer Tony Bennett never drove a car again after his crash during his teen life.

Bennett, 85, encountered a terrifying accident when he was still in his teens after which he decided never to drive again. Even though Bennett fought in World War II during the final stages of as an infantryman for the U.S. Army, he gets really scared about the idea of sitting behind the wheel even now. “I drove a car once as a teenager, got into an accident and never got behind the wheel again,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling the Us Weekly.
