Xiaomi Redmi 3 with Snapdragon 616 launched

Chinese handset-maker Xiaomi on Monday launched its much-awaited Redmi 3.

Xiaomi Redmi 3 sports a 5 inch screen size with 720x1280 pixels resolution. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor. The smartphone packs 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone has been priced at 699 yuan (approximately $107) and goes on sale in China on January 12.

The Redmi 3 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well which also supports full-HD recording.
