Jane Fonda bestowed with French honour

London: Oscar-award-winning actress Jane Fonda has been bestowed with the Great Medal of Paris by the city`s mayor. The 72-year-old beauty was honoured for her contribution to the city`s art and culture, BBC reported online.

The `Cat Ballou` star was honoured at a ceremony in the French capital, said she considered it "like a second home". Fonda was given the award by Paris mayor Bertand Delanoe during the Paris Cinema Festival. The actress is presently working on her first French language film. PTI
