Reid urges Price not to sing at blessing ceremony

London: Model Katie Price`s fiance Alex Reid has urged her not to sing her new song at their wedding blessing ceremony as it is devoted to her ex-husband Peter Andre.

Reid says he would feel like Andre is present on the special occasion, if she performed her new single "Free To Love Again tomorrow", reports dailystar.co.uk. "It will be like Peter is there, the song is all about him," Reid said. Katie hit the headlines last week after it emerged that her new song has the exact words Peter spoke on the day of their divorce. "At last, I`m free to love again," Andre has said earlier. "Alex feels that Kate`s song will overshadow the day. She has given it a special time slot and made sure the sound and lighting are perfect. Alex feels the day should be about their vows, rather than some promotion. And he also thinks that singing a song supposedly about your ex on your wedding day is pretty weird," said a source. The blessing ceremony would be held this month. Price wed Reid in Vegas in February this year. IANS
