Rahman features in Oprah’s show

Mumbai: While the Bachchans almost became a reference point for Oprah Winfrey’s presence in India when the celebrated talk show host visited here this Jan, there was another genius who caught her fancy. Known as the Mozart of Madras - Oscar winner musician AR Rahman was another distinguished personality who had the privilege to host Oprah’s visit here in India. It’s known that Rahman has featured in Oprah’s new show ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’. Oprah came here to have a firsthand experience of the place and she apparently, ended up shooting for a couple of episodes. In 2009, Rahman performed on The Oprah Winfrey Show and also met her at an event that had both of them on the list of the most influential people. This episode will feature her visit to India with Rahman welcoming her to the country and explaining the key highlights of his own foundation, KM Music Conservatory.
