Overworked Asin faints during media interviews

Multi-tasking and the urge to stay constantly in limelight seem to be taking a toll on the frail health of our dainty Bollywood belles. In keeping with the recent trend of fainting beauties, Asin collapsed during a media event for ‘London Dreams’ thereby joining the likes of other overworked and under-nourished actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor. Mumbai: Multi-tasking and the urge to stay constantly in limelight seem to be taking a toll on the frail health of our dainty Bollywood belles. In keeping with the recent trend of fainting beauties, Asin collapsed during a media event for ‘London Dreams’ thereby joining the likes of other overworked and under-nourished actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor. On Saturday, while addressing a press person, Asin collapsed at a club in Andheri. The actress who had been giving endless media interviews left everyone stunned when during a conversation with a TV channel she passed out. The actress was immediately rushed to the hospital. Talking about her jam-packed schedule, Asin said, “I’ve become quite a hazard zone, haven’t I? Going by the number of mishaps, I qualify as the desi Calamity Jane”. “Actually, I hadn’t slept at all that day or the night before. I had been doing back-to-back interviews for ‘London Dreams’ for the last one week with just 3-4 hours of sleep. On that day, there was no sleep or food at all. Anyway, I’m making up for the exhausting week with the most peaceful and happy birthday of my life”, the actress added. However, even though the actress maintains that she is overworked; sources tell us that it’s her fixation to get a lean figure that has taken a toll on her health.
