London: British Labour politician Keith Vaz is said to be hoping to dazzle voters during his campaign trail in Leicester East by bringing in some Bollywood stars, like Shilpa Shetty. Shetty, 34, has known Vaz, 53, who is defending a 15,876 majority, since he invited her to meet Tony Blair at the Commons after she won Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

“In India, Bollywood stars stand for parliament themselves,” the Telegraph quoted a member of Vaz’s campaign team as saying. “It will be lovely to see them bring a bit of razzmatazz to the campaign,” the member added. ANI
