Sydney: Actress Demi Moore has decided to sue New Idea gossip magazine for publishing a series of black and white photographs without her permission. She’s set to file fresh lawsuit against the magazine bosses for printing a black and white snaps including herself, her daughter Rumer Willis, Orlando Bloom, P Diddy, Cameron Diaz and Amanda De Cadenet taken at an Oscars after party last year.
The photos show the celebrities hamming it up together in photo booth-style snaps. The ‘Ghost’ star had lodged a claim last year stating the magazine breached her copyright when it published the pictures on the front cover and on two pages inside its March 8 edition without her permission, reports the Sydney Morning Herald. According to the statement, Moore spoke to event organiser Jeffrey Best at the party and the pair agreed that by paying for the photographs Moore would be assigned the copyright. In the Federal Court in Melbourne her lawyer said more claims would be added. Barrister Kingsley Davis said a new statement of claim would be lodged claiming breach of copyright and additional claims of breach of confidence. Moore is seeking loss and damages for stress caused, Davis said. ANI
