London: Brit pop singer Leona Lewis was recently left petrified when a bunch of dreaded tarantulas decided to show up on the set of a photoshoot for the cover of her upcoming second album. Lewis, 24, was shooting on a cliff top in Malibu, California, when someone on the set disturbed a nest of the poisonous spiders, leaving the singer shrieking in fear.
The shoot had to be shut down for two hours until pest control had made the area safe, and only then did she dare return to take up her position in front of the camera. "Someone on the set had disturbed the spiders` nest and they had come out to see what all the commotion was about," the Sun quoted a source as saying. "Leona was the first to see them and was petrified - frozen in fear and shrieking. "For someone who professes to be such a nature lover, it was a bit of an unexpected reaction. But she was terrified of being bitten," the source added. ANI
