London: Michael Lohan paid a visit to daughter Lindsay Lohan`s house with Los Angeles County Sheriff`s Department to check on his younger daughter, Ali, who is staying with her sister.

People.com reports that after officers inspected the house Thursday and interviewed Ali, 16, they left her with her older sister. "I went to the police department concerned about Ali`s welfare," Michael Lohan told Hollyscoop.com. "I wanted to check on Ali. I want to make sure she`s okay. She`s 16 and she doesn`t belong there. She`s a minor." Referring to the incident, Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said: "Michael Lohan called the West Hollywood Sheriff’s and was concerned about the welfare of his (teen) daughter who was with Lindsay Lohan - I don’t know if they were living together. Sheriff’s deputies went out to Lindsay Lohan’s apartment and were given access by Lindsay Lohan and determined that for the (teen) as well as for Lindsay, there was no danger at all. A report was taken and that was it." Michael told TMZ.com that once inside Lindsay’s apartment, he spoke to his daughter, Ali, who told him "I`m fine, daddy, I`m fine." The visit was definitely not welcome by Lindsay, who Tweeted: "I have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister`s safety, as well as my own. My ex-dad just WALKED INTO MY APT like the devil`s advocate with officers." She further wrote: "He has NEVER paid child support, and is marrying a tabloid writer and can barely spell his own name due to his "brain" that has been ruined due to HIS drug use. When will it ever end... it`s been going on my whole life with him - hasn`t he caused enough pain?... thank g-d (god) for my mommy... w/out (without) her, i wouldn`t even know myself." But Michael tells Hollyscoop that he`s concerned Lindsay has been taking her younger sister out partying with her. "Ali is being exposed to nightlife and the people Lindsay is surrounding herself with," he said, noting that he wants to meet with his daughter`s attorneys to discuss becoming Lindsay`s conservator.
