Billie Piper hits back at anti-smoking campaigners

London: English actress Billie Piper has lashed out at critics who slammed her for smoking in front of her one-year-old son. A picture showed her puffing out clouds of smoke that seemed to drift around little Winston as she sat outside a pub

But she said that the picture was misleading as the camera angle made her appear closer to her son than she actually was. “Billie is a responsible parent who values her child`s health above all else. Though a smoker, she is careful to only do so outside and with consideration to those around her,” The Sun quoted Billie’s representative as saying. “Due to the angle from which it is taken, the picture is misleading. It does not give a true sense of perspective in relation to the proximity of her son,” the rep added. ANI
