Ranbir-Priyanka starrer ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ gets a new love ballad

Mumbai: Even as the Ranbir-Priyanka starrer ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ has been postponed due to the ‘Dabangg’ juggernaut and the looming Ayodhya-Babri verdict, director Siddharth Anand is making a last ditch effort to add extra zing to his ambitious project. Buzz has it that Anand has recently shot a song for ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, which he claims to be merely a remix of a promotional song already present in the film. ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, which was supposed to release initially on September 24, will now see the light of the day on October 1 due to the aforementioned reasons, something which gave Anand a reason to shoot a dreamy ballad with his lead pair in the Film City. Confirming to a news daily about the presence of the new song, Anand said, “We’re shooting the remix ballad version of ‘Tujhe bhula diya’. We were always supposed to shoot it at this time as a promotional song. Ranbir was away in Prague and there was no time to shoot it earlier.” Apparently, a source close to Priyanka revealed, “She was suddenly called to do a song with Ranbir. It was certainly not scheduled before.” Well, we hope the audience likes ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ with its latest romantic ballad.
