No retirement plans for De Niro

London: Hollywood star Robert De Niro has revealed that he has no plans to hang his boots and will keep working for another 40 years.The 66-year-old actor who was surprised to be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards Tuesday said he hopes he will continue to receive more accolades in the future because he won`t stop working, reports contactmusic.com.

"You know, I`ve only been doing this for about 40 years. It`s actually been longer, but what are they going to give me 40 years from now - the He Lived Too Long Award?" he said. "A couple of critics suggested it was maybe time for me to retire... I`m still a kid - always a kid. And like most kids, I`m very happy for the approval of grown ups. Thank you and see you at the Kids Choice Awards," he added. IANS
