Washington: David Arquette has revealed that he “didn`t want to live” after his marriage breakdown with Courteney Cox.
He has even admitted that he used his break-up with Cox as an excuse to “accelerate” the amount of alcohol he consumed, and struggled to deal with his feelings. The 40-year-old actor - who split with the former `Friends` star after 11 years of marriage in October 2010 - admits he used the break-up as an excuse to drink more and was unsure how to deal with his feelings in the aftermath. “We had grown apart for quite a while, and I was just really heartbroken over it. I used it as an excuse to accelerate my drinking,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. “You know, to be honest, I didn`t want to live anymore. I was just so heartbroken and distraught and my family was broken. I didn`t know how to deal with these feelings,” he added. ANI
