London: Eva Longoria, who has been chosen by friend Victoria Beckham to be godmother to her daughter Harper, has vowed to be a ‘great role model’ to the toddler.
The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star said that she would be a model godmother to the youngster, and pointed to her swathes of experience in the position.
“I am a five-time godmother!” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Us magazine.
Harper, who is Victoria’s fourth child with football star David Beckham, is due to be christened later this year in a ceremony attended by the likes of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.
The 37-year-old looked like she’d had a rough flight when she arrived at JFK Airport, on Saturday, as her hair appeared unkempt and she hid her eyes behind sunglasses.
Smitten Victoria has been singing the praises of the 10-month-old tot, who joins her brothers Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz in having an idiosyncratic name.
“Baby Harper is the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen. I have fallen in love all over again!” she said.
The pair are often spotted out and about in Los Angeles and beyond partaking in shopping trips.
