Lucknow: Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who was here to promote his forthcoming film ‘Talaash’, went down memory lane and recalled how he flew kites here upon his last visit.
Talking about a last trip to Lucknow years ago, when he accompanied his uncle, late filmmaker Nasir Hussain, he said he still remembers how he had flown kites and had loved it.
"Somebody had taunted me that since I was a Mumbaikar, I would not able to fly kites, but I did it quite comfortably," Aamir said here Friday evening.
The 47-year-old says anyone who has lost a family member will be able to relate with ‘Talaash’, a crime thriller. And he admits he gets worried whenever his children step out.
Admitting that he was very concerned about his family, Aamir told reporters here Friday evening that he gets jittery with even one missed call from his residence.
"Whenever my kids go for a picnic, I am worried till the time they come back home. In my view, picnics should be banned," said the 47-year-old, who has two children from his first wife - son Junaid and daughter Ira.
He has another child, son Azad, from his current wife Kiran Rao. The third child, born Dec 5, 2011, is through a surrogate mother.
In ‘Talaash’, Aamir plays a tough police officer named Arjun Singh Shekhawat. For his role, he also interacted with some crime reporters and tried to do "gain some experience" from their style of working.
