Mumbai: Well…before you think that Saif Aali Khan is contemplating having a fist fight with his contemporary Salman Khan; let us set things straight.
The point of contention here is the film ‘Judwaa’ which had Salman Khan in the lead playing a double role. The super-hit film that released in 1996 is all set to be remade but this time round Salman’s out and Saif is in the newer version of the blockbuster flick.
Buzz has it that both Salman and David Dhawan are no where in the picture of the new project. Director Sajid Khan and Saif have teamed up for ‘Judwaa’ part 2 which will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The new version of ‘Judwaa’ will reportedly have foreign technical expertise on board to make the twin characters real on screen.
Addressing reporters recently, producer Nadiadwala had said, “The original came out in 1996, and a lot has changed since then in terms of technology and audiences’ expectations. So, we plan to take the ‘double role’ factor to a level that no one can even think of.”
Salman had brought the loveable characters of Prem and Raja to life on screen, but whether or not Saif will succeed in doing so, is something for time to tell.
