Victoria ditches high heels for back injury

Los Angeles: Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham is reportedly following her doctor`s advice to ditch high heels as she recovers from a slipped disc in her lower back.

The 37-year-old suffered the injury while she was pregnant with five-week-old daughter Harper Seven in July and was photographed stepping out with a pair of flat shoes, a website reported. Out for a business meeting in Los Angeles, she wore a plain green dress that she paired with a black cardigan and flat shoes and hid her eyes behind big sunglasses. Victoria is expected to fly to New York next month to attend New York Fashion Week, where she will showcase her Spring/Summer 2012 collection. PTI
