I am absolutely fine...rocking, clarifies Aishwarya

Mumbai: Refuting all the rumours about her alleged illness (read stomach TB) and pregnancy, Bollywood’s light eyed beauty has clarified that she’s very much hale and hearty as she says, “I am absolutely fine…rocking.” Ash, who was named the Entertainment Icon at the award function here recently, made optimum use of the opportunity to put down the buzz about her supposed illness. The actress said, “Please don’t pay heed to reports about my ill-health. This time, the media has really gone overboard with the whole thing. And I doubt if anyone even knows anything about the disease I am supposed to be suffering from!” The Bachchan bahu was visibly disturbed with anyone who brought up the news of her supposed illness. Aishwarya said, “Abhishek had to clarify for me. Do people even know the difference between stomach and womb to be saying this?” Flanked by her in-laws, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan at the event, Ash explained Abhishek’s absence and said, “Abhi didn’t want to miss the function. Our family tries to spend as much time as possible together. But he’s busy working double shift.” Incidentally, the first family of Indian cinema, the Bachchan parivar, did not attend the Filmfare Awards in protest of the "false" report published by a Mumbai-based tabloid about Aishwarya Rai`s health. Aishwarya, who was to perform at the awards pulled out from the event and the Bachchans have served a legal notice to the newspaper and are demanding a public apology. The tabloid had published an article stating that Aishwarya is suffering from stomach tuberculosis and therefore cannot conceive, a news that was later branded as "completely false" by father-in-law Amitabh.
