Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman adopt Nikki Reed’s foster pup

Washington: Drew Barrymore and her fiance Will Kopelman have adopted a puppy, which was recently fostered by Twilight actress Nikki Reed.

Reed and her new husband, former American Idol contestant Paul MCDonald, took in a litter earlier this month after they were dumped at an animal shelter in Los Angeles. The dogs were then taken in by Shannon von Roemer, the owner of Bark N’ Bitches - and one lucky pup, named Biscuit, caught the eye of Barrymore and Kopelman after they paid a visit to the rescue pet store on Sunday. “I know they were interested in the little boy puppy all along, but they wanted to come in and get a sense of the dog’s personality and make sure it would get along with their other dog,” Contactmusic quoted Von Roemer as telling WENN. And Roemer is full of praise for the couple for choosing to adopt a rescue dog instead of a pure breed. “That is just who Drew is - she has always been an amazing advocate for shelter dogs and I am just so proud that she chose to adopt a puppy from my store!” she added.
