London: Robin Gibb, who is battling liver cancer, wants to go back to tour.
The Bee Gees co-founder has told his friends that he wants to play live again to thank all the fans who have been praying for his health. Brother Barry has been by the 62-year-old singer’s side all this week, and suggested that when he is healthy they should return to the stage. Their former record company boss David English who visited Gibb said that even though he is very frail, he is sharp and feeling positive. “Barry came out with it and said, ‘Look, why don’t we go on the road again?’ and Rob just grinned and replied ‘great, when can we go?’ the Mirror quoted English as saying. “We said, ‘We need to get you a bit stronger and better first. “We will have to feed you up – none of this vegan nonsense with herbal tea’. “I think it was the best medicine we could have given him,” he added.
