Mumbai: This is the part of Bachchan family who media often refers as ‘Big B’s son, or Aishwarya’s husband. But Chhota Bachchan revealed quite an impressive mindset in an interview recently. Not one to be fazed by being overshadowed by the presence of more glamorous family members like Ash and Big B, Abhishek talked about what makes him go on.Talking on a news channel, he said, “I have been brought up by women. With a mother, two aunts, one sister, two more cousin sisters, and a very strong grandma, I have been surrounded by some very fine women as I grew up. I grew up thinking women are strong beings.” Referring to his immediate family he said, “Pa could do what he has done because of Ma.” Getting even more personal, he added, “When you can see that this woman loves you unconditionally, it builds up your confidence immensely. I proudly went to the Cannes and walked the red carpet – for Aishwarya, not for the photographs. Because I know at the end of the day, in the bedroom she will walk up to me, give me a hug and will say ‘Thank you for being there with me’.” He said, “I am not trying to sound archaic, but the knowledge that your spouse will take care of you in whatever situation you return home to after working hard what you could for the family, instills a great sense of confidence. This happens to both the husband and the wife. It is not gender specific.”
