Rajkot: Amitabh Bachchan who concluded his shooting schedule here has said the journey through parts of Gujarat over the last week was an educative and interesting experience and that he would return to the state for the second part of the shoot later.The mega star went to Diu this morning from where he departed to Mumbai, A M Parmar, Junagadh district collector said.
Before leaving for Mumbai the actor thanked officials of the district authority and forest department and said "I enjoyed the trip very much."
The final session of shooting was held at Somnath temple and Bachchan wrote in his blog that "Read and heard so much about the temple and now I stand before it, reliving all these years of mention in a moment of my life".
Talking about the trip, he said , "This shoot has come to an end, well at least this section of it. The first phase of the campaign is over. It has covered some important areas of the State. In time other areas will be covered when I shall return. But suffice to say that it has been a most interesting and educative experience and I do hope that the cause that we have promoted, fructifies."
