Washington: A Los Angeles court has adjudged that Britney Spears does not have to depose in a lawsuit that was launched by a licensing company over a breach of contract.
According to RadarOnline.com, the requests of the lawyers for ‘Brand Sense’ were turned down by a judge, as Spears was still under conservatorship. Brand Sense has been seeking 10million dollars as damages from the singer and her father, Jamie Spears, for allegedly holding back the brokerage payment from Spears’ successful Elizabeth Arden fragrance range. According to the company, Spears was due to pay 35 percent brokerage, but breached the contract by suddenly stopping the payment. ANI
