London: Singer and actress Selena Gomez has revealed that she has stopped surfing the internet or reading magazines after she came under fire from fans jealous of her romance with Justin Bieber.
Gomez has been targeted with nasty online comments by some of the infuriated Bieber devotees after the teenage couple announced their relationship this year.
The actress admitted she is trying to ignore the negativity surrounding her romance with the ‘Baby’ hitmaker and has resolved to distance herself from the web and gossip magazines.
“It’s weird, it’s just weird, but I don’t pay attention to it, I just try to live my life as normal as possible,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling Scotland’s Daily Record.
“I just like to not focus on what the whole world is saying about me and just be happy with myself.
“I try to not read magazines or the Internet but it’s obviously unavoidable. I mean, it’s everywhere, so there are moments where I read things that hurt my feelings.
“But not most of the time. I don’t surround my life with magazines or the internet,” she added.
