Katie Holmes gets inspired by family

Los Angeles: Actress Katie Holmes says she draws inspiration from her family life, as her household is "very creative".

The `Batman Begins` star, who has a four-year-old daughter Suri with actor husband Tom Cruise, claimed her loved ones help to be creative while she is at home, as they inspire the way she approaches some of her movie roles, a magazine reported. "Every day my husband inspires me. My family inspires me. My daughter inspires. We`re always sort of creating new things whether it`s a party, or a script or a movie. We try to be a very creative household," Holmes said. The brunette beauty admitted she thinks Suri could follow in her famous parents` footsteps in the acting world if that`s what she wants when she grows up. "I know that she can do whatever she wants and she`ll be great at it," she added. Cruise recently said he always speaks to Suri about his impending movie roles and runs through his scripts with her. "I`ll put Suri on a swing and tell her stories when I`m working on a script. I`ll start with the beginning of the movie and take her through the story beat by beat. Of course, I make it age-appropriate. She`s four years old. But she asks all the right questions, `Why does that happen?` `Those are the bad guys?` `You`re the good guy, right?`," Cruise had said. "It comes down to the same thing as when I was a kid. Can I create a character that will make her happy, that will make her laugh? And you know what? She makes me get better and better, because she`s always asking me to do it again," he added. PTI
